Job Description Journeyman Finish Carpenter (Koloa)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Journeyman Finish Carpenter assists and reports to the Trim Carpenter Foreman on our luxury homes and is responsible for delivering high-quality finish carpentry work on our exquisite interiors and exteriors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment

• Must be trustworthy, able to work with minimal supervision and desire to get the job done efficiently and effectively

• Must have excellent time management skills • Must be extremely dependable and have good communication skills

• Must be able to lift 70-80 lbs.

• Must ensure that all work is being done in compliance with the company's protocols

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist the Trim Carpenter Foreman with all high-end luxury carpentry projects.

• Interior / Exterior Finish and Rough Carpentry.

• Finish carpentry tasks including door hanging, cabinet installation, and installation of crown molding, baseboard and door casings.

• Make a variety of building repairs to framing, siding, drywall, decks, flooring and doors.

• Ensure that all safety measures are taken and adhered to on the construction sites.

• Job site cleanup, maintenance and organization.

• Communicate with project manager daily about progress
